The brief
Software for managing teams, people, and time off holds some of the most sensitive data a business has. The bar here isn’t “secure enough” — it’s that a data leak is unacceptable, and the architecture has to make that bar real.
Our role
We led the architecture and engineering with security as the first constraint: a least-privilege access model, encryption of personal data, comprehensive audit logging, and boundaries that contain the blast radius of any single failure.
Approach
Assume every component can fail and design so failures don’t become breaches. Minimize who and what can touch personal data, log everything that does, and make the secure path the easy path for the people building on top of it.
Outcome
People systems a business can trust with its most sensitive records — where security is structural, not bolted on.
