The brief
A streaming service was launching a new product and needed its entire web presence rebuilt to match — a content platform, an online store, and payments that all worked as one. Behind the scenes, the money had to move correctly to the content providers powering the catalog.
Our role
We led the integration of the custom content management system into the ecommerce platform. As architecture and engineering lead, we then built the payment workflows and the subscription-management platform that tied streaming content providers into the product.
Approach
Make the launch feel like one product, not three systems bolted together. Get content, store, and payments speaking the same language — so the team could publish, sell, and settle with providers without the seams ever showing to a customer.
Outcome
A relaunched streaming product where browsing, subscribing, and paying flowed as one — backed by the payment and subscription machinery to support content providers at launch scale.
